Let us hold onto Grace

Dear Church Family

“We will shelter the weak, serve the suffering, and mend the broken, and as we do, we offer the unshakeable hope of Christ and the Gospel.” These are the words from Vasyl Ostryl, a Ukrainian pastor who has decided to remain in the Ukraine and serve his community during this time of conflict in his country. The reality is that we are alive to see and experience great troubles and turbulence, both in our own country and in the world at large. Between our own personal challenges, the pandemic, conflict in Europe, and turmoil in the financial markets, it feels as though we are constantly being shaken. Through all this, though, we must take encouragement and hope from the Word and strengthen ourselves in the Lord. “Since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, LET US HOLD ONTO GRACE!” - Hebrews 12: 28 I encourage you all to: - Devote yourselves to the Scriptures, reading His Word daily. - Prayer every day, knowing that as you come to the throne of grace, you will find more grace! - Gather with one another to worship, meet with the Lord, and gaze into His face as a family. AGM Upcoming Before I end off, please note that our AGM will be held in the latter half of April. We will send out the date as soon as it is confirmed and I encourage as many of you as possible to attend. Until then, let us rejoice in the Lord’s goodness! The church has ended its financial year (28 February 2022) positively and I am once again humbled by God’s favour and the faithful tithing in our community. My prayer over each of you is that you will feel His sustaining grace and miraculous provision for all your needs! Lastly, let us pray that God’s sovereign will spreads on Earth as it is in Heaven - especially in the Ukraine. In His strong love, Patrick
