Having hope in times of fear is our GREATEST NEED in this age of anxiety.
As believers our GREATEST HOPE is to believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was raised from the dead.
The resurrection is the key to facing all the challenges of life and the uncertainty of the future.
1Peter1:3: “God has caused us to be born again to a LIVING HOPE through the resurrection of Jesus from the dead.”
The biblical word for hope is Elpida and means a profound certainty.
Therefore we are certain and we abound in hope and all this hope centres on one explosive event - the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
We have a glorious message to offer a world that has lost hope.
Our temporary life on this earth is lived in the light of eternity.
Therefore we know that our toughest times are part of a history guided by God and every turn leads us towards the resurrection of our bodies where we will see Him face to face.
In Philippians 3:10 Paul longs for one thing “to know the power of his resurrection”
May this LIVING HOPE energise, empower and burn brightly within you as you know the power of His resurrection - personally and experientially .
Romans 15:13: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.“
I pray that each day you would experience another day of victory to the glory of His name.
